During the year we organise clayshoots, ladies days and induction
days in one or all of our activities. The number of participants for
these events are restricted to enable us to cultivate a relaxed
atmosphere. If you would like information on any of these events
please email your contact details and we will inform you when any are
taking place. All sessions are appointment only, bookings subject to non refundable
deposit. Your group will have it’s own allocated exclusive time slot and
will not form part of a larger group. We try to keep a flexible approach and will do our best to meet your
requests. The ground is section 11(6) exempt, which allows non certificate
holders to shoot under supervision.
MOBILE
SERVICE Organising a party and want something different then providing your
venue is suitable we can come to you* Please note clayshooting may
require a section 11(6) exemption certificate obtainable from your
county firearms department, we can advise you on this and liase on
your behalf, but allow plenty of time as the process can sometimes be
slow. VOUCHERS You can purchase vouchers for lessons in any of our activities. Open
vouchers are available for any value redeemable in full or part
payment for chosen activity. Please note vouchers are valid for 12
months from date of issue. TRAINING
DAYS Safety awareness
Class room lecture/discussion on safe handling of
shotguns, safety in
the field covering driven
game, walked up, and hide
shooting followed
by range practice. Primarily for game shooters,
syndicates and any organisation who
require staff to be familiar with shotgun safety. BASC Safe shot assessment
An award designed to test someone’s shotgun handling
skills in the
field. Candidate requires a
sound knowledge of safety to gain
a
pass. Natural progression from safety awareness day. Useful for
game shooting clubs and syndicates to assess new
members. CATERING
Tea/coffee and biscuits are included in all the above. For all day
events we can provide onsite catering either bbq, soup and rolls,
filled baguettes etc, or off site at one of the local hostelry’s.
GROUND POLICY
Fibre wad cartridges only
Clients wishing to use their own gun and cartridge combination must
have a valid shotgun certificate, and guns must be in serviceable
condition. You will not be allowed to use any gun deemed unsafe. Guns
and cartridges are clients responsibility at all times.
Non certificate holders can only shoot under the supervision of one of our instructors.
All persons to wear safety equipment provided.
All persons taking part do so at their own risk.
