Dear Dave,

I am writing to thank you for a highly enjoyable shooting session this Sunday.  We all enjoyed the activities and were most impressed by the standard of the facilities and professionalism of the set-up.

Most of all we were impressed with your coaching and your obvious desire that we should enjoy shooting as much as you do.  Your attention to detail and expert advice really transformed what could have been just another weekend activity into an experience that we all not only enjoyed but also benefited greatly from.

We all left with the intention to try shooting again and certainly would have no hesitation in recommending your shooting school.

New Equipment for Scout Group

Due to the generosity of two local businesses the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts of Clearwell & Sling Scout Group, who meet in Coleford in Gloucestershire, will be able to learn a new sport with up to date equipment.

Dave Brown of DBC Leisure of Milkwall and Robert Farquhar of R & B Sporting from Ross have donated 2 air rifles to the Group to enable the members to learn and enjoy target shooting safely with new rifles. This type of sport develops co ordination and can be participated in by all ages and abilities.                      

The Group has qualified adult instructors amongst its leaders who are able to train the younger members in the use of this equipment. The Scout District and County hold annual competitions which our members will now be able to enter with the possibility of achieving a higher standard as they can practice during the year.


The Group would like to thank Dave and Robert for their generosity and hope that our members young and old gain a new skill and enjoy using the new equipment.

Firstly, we'd like to thank you for the very enjoyable day we spent with you shooting clays, airguns and archery. We all had a great time (even though I'm convinced you fixed the sights of my airgun before Ryan and I had that competition!) it was the highlight of our stay in the forest of Dean. You have great "people skills" and I'm sure you'll go from strength to strength with your business.
 
Thanks for sending the info for airgunsport, although I am having problems tracking down the combination of rifle and scope that we used on our day out. Could you please send the make and model of the gun and scope and I'll see if I can find them on the net. Or if you could suggest any other good combo's, that would be great too.
 
Thanks for asking about our new pup too, he's doing really well, he's very confident, inquisitive, persistant, travelled very well in the car and on the ferry to Shetland and is now settling in at home with us and our big old ridgeback Bwana.

Just wanted to thank you again for a thoroughly enjoyable morning shooting clays last Saturday.
 
We all enjoyed it very much, I learnt more about guns in two hours than I had in the last 5 years!  I think it took my Dad back a few years too.
 
It was great to meet you hopefully we will see you again this year.

Hi David,

Just a quick note to say thank you for looking after us on Saturday. The day was more fun than any of us imagined and I am slightly concerned you have created a few shooting addicts! The set up was great and those of us who had never shot clays before were really thrilled to get the chance to try it out at the end of the Pistol Session… That was very kind of you!

I have to say there were some very sad faces when we got back to the cottage and discovered we had left all the cakes and biscuits in your truck…. I hope you found a good home for them!
